lxc-tests software package provides Linux Containers userspace tools (test binaries), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lxc-tests
lxc-tests is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lxc-tests package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lxc-tests *
You will get with lxc-tests package name, version, architecture and description in a table
